Delete your account

You can permanently delete your eyra account and personal data. There are two ways: directly in the app, or by emailing us.

01Option 1 — Delete inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the eyra app on your phone.

  • Open the eyra app and sign in with the account you want to delete.
  • Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the Train screen to open Settings.
  • Tap "User" → "Delete account".
  • Confirm that you want to delete your account. This action cannot be undone.

02Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, or you prefer to request deletion in writing, send an email to app.lyttetrening@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my eyra account".

To make sure we delete the right account, please include the following in the email:

  • The email address you used to sign up for eyra.
  • A confirmation sentence: "I confirm I want my eyra account and personal data permanently deleted."

03What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is removed from our systems immediately:

  • Your account record (email, sign-in identifiers).
  • Your settings and preferences (language, notification preferences, voice preference, exercise parameters).
  • Your training history (exercise results, response times, daily and monthly statistics).
  • Your subscription record (the link between your account and the RevenueCat subscription identifier).

04What may be retained, and why

Two categories of data are not deleted by us, because they are not under our control:

  • Anonymous analytics processed via Aptabase (EU-hosted, no IP, no identifiers, no cookies). Because these events contain no identifier, they cannot be linked back to you and there is nothing to delete on a per-user basis.
  • Payment and receipt records held by Apple and Google for their subscriptions. We do not store your card details and cannot delete records on Apple or Google's side. To request deletion of your payment data, contact Apple or Google directly.

05How long it takes

In-app deletion is immediate — your account record and training data are removed from our database the moment you confirm.

For email requests, we reply to confirm receipt, complete the deletion, and send a final confirmation email within 30 days.

06Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your App Store or Play Store subscription, because subscriptions are managed by Apple and Google, not by us. To stop being charged, cancel the subscription on your device:

  • iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → eyra → Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Play Store → profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → eyra → Cancel.
